Its been a real scrabble-tastic weekend... well not really fantastic. I'd dead beat.

Yesterday (sunday) was our scrabble open.

results: Rebecca 12th
Audrey 13th (me)
Laura 18th

Laura was supposed to get 4th but what a shame, she lost one game. Don't worry Laura! There's always the nationals (which you HAVE TO JOIN).

Mr Koh was being irritating and on purpose too! First, he announced for the whole hall to hear, 'Laura! Stop dreaming! Table 8!' Gosh and then he made an announcement for Rebecca, Laura and I to go to the front of the hall just so he could borrow a calculator, which in the end, didn't need it! But other than that, the day was pretty okay. Had dinner with Rebecca at Clementi which was pretty much just cheese fries and a drink. Mmmm... love cheese. =)

Today. Well today was another full day for me. Or is going to be because the day isn't exactly over.

Let's see, started the day off with waking up. I had a hard time getting up because of yesterday but I managed to.

Accounts was my first period and Mr Koh was late. I called him and asked him where he was at about 8.30 and he was like 'What do you mean?' and I was 'well, a/c was supposed to be at 8.00 and its 8.30 now.' Turns out his timetable said it was supposed to be 9.00 so..ah wells, can't blame him for that.

I went up to the library to do my maths tuition homework. I'm still not done but at least I did do like... a couple of questions. I'm such a procastinater. (is that how its spelt? I can't recall.)

Had another hour of accounts (yeah, wow. I keep having to see Mr Koh. I see him more often than my own parents which is really freaky) and then it was social studies. Wow, social studies was not at all fun. Mr Lee left us to do our own work for an hour. SBQs... when he came back, we hadn't finished and he was really mad. No, not mad. Disappointed. Honestly, I feel really bad even though I really did try to do my work but it was so noisy that I couldn't even hear my own thoughts. He always gets to me everytime he's so emotional like that. Thank goodness he isn't my permenant SS teacher or I'll just die man. At least Mr Anthony isn't so... so... at least he doesn't play with our feelings and make us feel so bad for not being good girls.

Anyhows, had scrabble practice after that. Was really fun. Hsiu Hien wanted to bring us ice cream but Mr Koh said 'no' and we were or at least I was kinda disappointed. Then he said at least we were being sensible because we said that it should be okay to eat in the IRT room since no one knows we're eating there. Hehheh.

First game I played was with Hsiu Hien but I think it was more like him playing by himself because I couldn't really put down anything good, plus he kept talking and talking and maybe I was just being very bad company but yeah, he was talking a lot but I didn't mind because I like listening to his accent. He came up with all these bombastic words that I wouldn't have been able to remember even if I tried. Needless to say, I lost. He had 500++ and I 400+. But oh wells, he's like Scrabble master so...hmmm.

After everyone else left, Mr Koh, Elizabeth (Mr Koh's friend), Laura, Becca and I played doubles. There's five of us so technically its not really doubles but anyways. Mr Koh and I were on the same team and Elizabeth and Becca and Laura were in the same team. Mr Koh and I had a little bit of advantage at first because he had taught me a couple of the doubles codes. However, Elizabeth kept blurting out stuff to help Laura and Becca. It was really fun! Liz kept blocking Mr Koh's Bingos or we could have won the first round but we won the second so its good. I think there was one part of the game when Mr Koh was trying to show me a code but because Liz knew the codes too, he was like 'stop looking' and then he couldn't show me but I guessed what it was and was all 'oohhhhhh' and becca was like 'how to you know what it is?' and i think he said we were 'telephatic' and I was..'yeah, its like we share the same brain.' Everyone thought that was really freaky because... i mean, whose brain are we sharing. Obviously not mine! haha.

Anyways, gotta go for tuition now, bye! wish us luck for the scrabble nationals!
